This past weekend we drove to California for the 2009 Wildflower Triathlon and had a great time. A big thanks to everyone we camped out with (Ross and Tammy Lamb, Diane Dedek, Susy Bacal, Oley and Sharon Sheremeta, Franz and Jennifer Rischard and Damian Hill who finished 4th overall) that shared in good food, great stories and tons of fun!

Mimi had a podium 3rd place finished in the 45 to 49 age group. Great job! There is some stiff competition at Wildflower. The Wildflower triathlon is considered one of the toughest half Ironman in the country.

After the race Ross Lamb and I cooked up some serious burgers! Ross had an awesome race and beat his time from the previous year by 20 minutes. Way to go Ross! Ross is a big fan of Vemma and Verve. Pictured below Ross with his double cheese burger.
