What does the word “NO” mean to you when someone tells you NO?
- Does it mean exactly that “NO!”?
- Does it mean that maybe the timing is not right and you will follow up at a later date?
- Does it mean “MAYBE” and the person needs more time and or information to make a decision?
- Does it mean NOT NOW and you will get a YES by staying the course and continuing to do the little things that will eventually get people to take you serious?
Many times when someone says “NO” to you they are just questioning your commitment to what it is you are doing. At the time you share the product and or opportunity with someone and they say NO to you, they are questioning you. When someone says “NO” to you it just means NOT NOW.
The key is to not give up and to keep right on doing what you are doing by being independent of what others think. Just because someone says “NO” to you, are you going to let them steal your dreams. I hope not!
I can’t tell you how many times we have heard the word “NO” from someone to later get a yes 1 month, 6 months, 1 year or even 4 years down the road. We would not have gotten a “YES” if we did not get the first “NO!”
Everyone’s CLOCK DIAL is set different so respect the word “NO” make friends and just remember “NO” means NOT NOW.
