We recently did a survey on our blog asking a few simple questions in regards to network marketing. The results were not surprising.

The one question that we were curious about was “how were people first introduced to network marketing?” Before the survey we know that being introduced to MLM by friends, family and acquaintances would be the most popular answer.
Take a look at the chart below. Not surprising! 87.4% or 118 people were introduced to networking marketing through a friend, family or acquaintance. Hint this tells you where you should spend most of your time prospecting.
94% or 126 people are happy with their current network marketing company as shown on the chart below. Although talking to people in other MLM companies is always a good idea from a network standpoint it is not where your focus should be. When we talk to others who are in other network marketing companies we always ask “are you happy with your company?” If they say “yes” just get to know them and make friends and if they say “no” then share Vemma with them.
The chart below shows the currently monthly income of the network marketers that took the survey. Keep in mind there were about 10 people that took the survey that were not in a network marketing company so their answer was zero income. 63% of the people survey are making $100 or more a month and 30.3% are making $500 or more a month which is huge in this economy. What would an extra $500 a month or more do for your household?
