At this years 2010 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii the theme was Anything Is Possible! The message was so perfect as how it relates to life and building your Vemma business. If given the proper time, training, commitment and belief in yourself anything is possible. The question is how bad do you want it and what are you willing to do to make anything possible?
anything is possible
This past week was so inspiring to be surrounded by top athletes from all over the world from all ages and backgrounds that have the attitude that anything is possible.

My road to Kona would not have been possible without all the love and support from my Vemma family, friends, training partners, coaches, family and most importantly Tyler. He has been my strength all the way through! Thank you Tyler for putting up with me during this preparation to Kona!

My path to the road to Kona has been many great life leasons that I enjoyed sharing with all of you on our blog. I have grown as a person as result of  my training for the challenge and now off to many more challenges to come. For me that is what life is about; CHALLENGING YOURSELF EVERYDAY TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON!

Although I did not achieve the goal of top 5 in my age group to finish is to win. You can’t win in life unless you show up at the starting line.

Below is a video of various clips we took throughout the week. Mahlo!

Mimi, this was your 1st World Championship Ironman race, correct?…will you race in it again?

I was surprised that in your “special needs” bag was a Verve…I would have assumed the advice would be to avoid the carbonation during a race – am I incorrect?

love you, Mimi :-) awesome job, cheers to both of you!!!

      Hi Brian,

Thanks for following me through out the day!! I think you were my biggest fan beside Tyler! That meant so much to me!!

Actually they had coke at all the aid stations in the transition. I would rather have a Verve! than a coke any day! It’s for the caffeine. At this point in the day any help you can get i good!

Thanks again for all your love and support!

      Love, Mimi

holy cow!…i couldn’t imagine, that at that critical time when the body most needs nourishment, feeding it a coke!!!…blows me away that some athletes would choose to do that!! i’d LOVE to have been there…in fact, if you compete again, I may add it as a “why” to be there and cheer you on :-)
