If I were new to the Network Marketing profession and wanted to make a six figure income what would I do? Or if I have been in the MLM profession and have not produce the income result that I had hoped for what would I do?

You can make 2010 the best year ever despite our difficult economic times. Doing nothing is the new risky!

  1. Decide – Make the decision that you will succeed and do not let anyone stop you from your goals and dreams. Be independent from the thoughts of others. Trust me there will be tons of people that will tell you that  you will not succeed. Use these types of people as your motivation to make it happen.
  2. Take action: To do nothing is risky – We are in a new economy and the rules have changed. It is not time to sit around and do nothing. It is a fact that we have a better way so go tell the world. Nothing is going to happen sitting around waiting for things to change.
  3. Surround yourself with positive people – You have to limit yourself from people in your life that have a negative influence and surround yourself with people that are positive and bring you up. This does not mean stop hanging around people that say “NO” to your opportunity just those that are negative. There are tons of people that will say “NO” but are positive people that will support you on your path to success.
  4. Talk to everyone – Get over your fears and talk to everyone you know about Vemma. What is the worst thing they can do? Tell you “NO,” who cares if you get a no. Get over it and move on to the next. We went out and got 30+ people on Vemma in our first 30 to 45 days which was the foundation of our success, but guess what we probably went out and talked to 60+ people to get the first initial 30+.
  5. Be coachable – Success leaves clues. Go find out what other success leaders are doing in the MLM profession and model what they are doing. That is what we did. Find leaders that match your personality, ethics and values and learn from them.
  6. Be real and be you – This is important! You have to be yourself. When we first started we tried to be others and did not do well. We learned and used the verbiage, techniques and coaching of others but at the same time stayed true to ourselves.
  7. Don’t get frustrated and quit – So many people don’t give it enough time and get frustrated and quit. If you were to start a job in a new profession would you expect to make a 6 figure income in 6 months? I don’t think so. You have to give it time and learn the skills to be successful. I know it is hard when you see many of the top leaders making more money in 1 month than most people make in a year, but they too started where you are. The one thing they have on you is time. So be committed to stick with it and learn the skills to create a legacy income.
  8. Get connected - Get connected with past friends, family, co-workers, people with similar interest’s on Facebook and Twitter and be more interested in them rather than pitching your MLM. For a good article on the subject of social networking click here.
  9. Don’t quit your day job – Keep right on doing what you are doing so you have the income to support you. Make an income goal, that when you get to let’s say $5,000 a month, that gives you some options to continue doing what you are doing our go full-time in your home bases business. For me I did not have a choice the company I worked for filed bankruptcy and closed their doors so I was pushed off the cliff to make Vemma happen. Mimi on the other hand continued to work as a dental hygienist. We set a certain income goal that onced reached Mimi would retire from being a dental hygienist.
  10. WORK ON PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT – As you improve your skill set your income will go up. Your income is a direct reflection of You. Join Vemma Success Club and attend the Vemma 2010 convention in Las Vegas is a MUST!

But that is just me.

You?
