How To Do A Vemma Booth by Tyler and Mimi Ford
After our last couple posts on the Vemma booths many people have asked questions on doing a Vemma booth; so I thought I would respond by doing a post about How To Do A Vemma Booth.
We have done quite a few booths since joining Vemma. We were told when we first joined Vemma and expressed an interest in doing some booths that they were a waist of time and money. We would have to disagree. If done right they can be well worth your time and money.
It helps to be organized when doing a booth. There were many times that we showed up for a Vemma booth and forgot something that was important, so we put together a click here for: vemma-booth-check-list-reminder to make sure that we are prepared each time we do a booth.
When you do a booth you must go there with the attitude that you are going to sign new members up on the spot. If you you do a Vemma booth to hand out info about the product hoping they will go to your website and order product you are kidding yourself. You need to enroll them as a Vemma member on the spot. To do this you need a Vemma Order Form to get people’s order. What we do is get their order info and then input their info into the system at the end of the day rather than inputting them in the system on the spot. Many times the booth can get very busy and you want to be able to take their order info so you can then talk to the next person.
We give out FREE samples of Vemma or Verve and poor about 1/2 oz to 1 oz of Vemma or Verve in a plastic cup for them to try it. Just enough so they can see what it taste like. We do not give out FREE bottles of Vemma, V2′s, or cans of Verve unless they enroll as a member.
Closing the sale is key! You have to ask for the sale or you will never get them to try Vemma. After we have told them all about Vemma and answered their questions we ask “Would you like to try Vemma with a 30 day money back guarantee?” You then have to apply duck tape to your mouth and let them respond. If you keep talking you will blow it. Just keep quite and let them respond. When they say yes tell them you need 5 things and have them fill out the order form. Keep it simple!
We do some promotions at the booth to add value to their fist order and to get them to try the product. It is a numbers game. There more people you introduce to Vemma the better your odds become of getting people to share the product, so you need to be willing to spend a little money on your Vemma business. Come from a place of abundance and NOT scarcity. If someone enrolls on the spot for a 1 pack or more we give away a FREE: 6 pack of Verve or 6 to 10 V2′s, cycling jersey, cycling socks or a combination of a few things. So when they walk away they feel as though the are getting something of value, have something to take with them and are getting there monies worth. We always do what we call a “Show Special” giving away something of value if they enroll on the spot.
We have found that the athletes are more interested in Vemma and always lead with Vemma rather than Verve. One needs to understand Vemma to get Verve.
If you are doing an outdoor event a Vemma E-Z Up Booth Tent is key. Plus it is important to wear Vemma and Verve wear while doing your booth. You can get your Vemma and Verve wear at www.vemmavervewear.com.
Above all have fun! Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Tyler and Mimi Ford
NOTE: As always focus on your core business by leading a growing group of people to consistently do a few simple actions over a sustained period of time. The booths are designed to do in addition to our simple 3 step system of 1) Taste 2) Share 3) Follow Up – and not as a replacement to build your Vemma business.

Hi Mini & Tyler,
I would say having a Vemma/Verve booth is VERY worthwhile. We netted a total of ten and that not including the ones we are still doing follow up on, who we strongly feel, will sign up soon. Two of our sign ups were fellow booth exhibitors, and one of those has signed up two under him, and one of his sign-ups, signed up someone. All this in five weeks time. YES booths work.

Thanks Mimi and Tyler for giving us tips for success when it comes to having a booth. I have worked at booths for different organizations, and I think it depends on several key factors whether or not it is a success. You rock!
I agree. They can be a total waist of time and money if not done right.
Thanks Tyler It really is a thorough explanation for those of us that are starting the business and were thinking about doing booths and didn’t know how.
Greetings!!

Tyler they do work! Sometimes you get customers or members right on the spot or they call you back when you least expect it. I was just out at Raytheon last week and signed up three. On May 17th, I will be in Costco promoting Vemma to their members.
I would recommend utilizing booths to everyone for maximum exposure and business growth.

We are starting out and wondering if you can help us with doing beach and park booths. We have a few questions.
Thanks
What are your questions?
Do you sell cans of Verve at the events? What events are best? Do u sign up the new members on the spot or later? What is the average number of new members at a event. Thanks
Tyler,
Thanks for getting back to me –
I have a few questions-
1. Do you try to sign people at the booth or do you follow up with a phone call later. If you sign them up at the booth do you have a form they fill out or do you sign them up on a lap top.
2. Does the booth work good for signing people up and what events do you think work the best.
3. For everyone you sign up do you push the business side or do you just sign them at user?
Anything you can answer fo help would be great. Sorry for sooo many questions.
Thanks
Mimi and Tyler,
As you know, in the South there are many local fairs and most of them have an exhibition hall type setting. Are we allowed as distributors to set up a booth in these environments? If so, do you have any additional tips other than what is already listed in that section of your information? By the way, thanks so much for all of your advice.
Darren
Fairs are open territory. Go for it!
This blog post says it all. Along with this post.

I have some questions on when you ask for the sale at your booth. Do you take their Credit Card info on the paper order form? And, if you do, do you have many objections from people leaving their Credit Card info with you at a booth? How do you combat this? Thanks,
Dan
We rarely have an issue. We get credit cards on the spot by having people fill out an order form. We assume the sale and come from a place of confidence.
