Chris Curry Success Story
Vemma Offers An Amazing Ground Floor Opportunity!
By Kathryn Bertine
Like many Vemma team members, Chris Curry works full time in a different field. As the design editor for the Kansas City Business Journal, Chris knows a thing or two about what it takes to be successful in business.
Two years ago, a couple friends introduced the product to Chris and he hasn’t looked back. “I thought Vemma would be good for my health, so I agreed to give it a try. I liked the product and started recommending it to people. But then I really got excited about the business when I went to my first convention.” In the 2008 Las Vegas convention, Chris realized what an amazing ground floor opportunity Vemma offered, and he was hooked.
“At the convention in Vegas, I got to visit with Ruth Elliot, one of our top up-line leaders.” Wanting to know the secret of Ruth’s success, Chris asked her what he needed to do. “She said to me, Chris, you have to be a great promoter. I try to take that advice to heart.” How does Chris do it? By sending out a weekly synopsis of events to his entire team, Chris provides them with a quick reference of news and upcoming agendas. “I know my team appreciates that, as the itinerary gets copied and forwarded to additional people.”
Another one of Chris’s success tactics is using the Roadmap to Success. “We started using it this summer and our team seems to be embracing the Roadmap. It’s a tangible tool that people can keep referring to. Also, by listening to the calls on Monday and Saturday, it gives the team a well-rounded guideline on how to build the Vemma business.”
Words of advice for new Vemma partners, Chris keeps it simple. “Have fun, don’t give up, and stay plugged in to calls, events, and leaders.” And as Chris, believes, “Go to the Vemma annual convention!”
