Pictured above Pam Reed who is the Tucson Marathon Race Director and Mimi Ford in front of our race day Vemma Booth.

This week was the 2008 Tucson Marathon and we had a Vemma booth at the packet pick up and race day finish line. Pam is the most accomplished female ultra runner in the history of the sport and a Vemma member.  A big thanks to Pam for supporting us and having us at her event.

Mimi was a champ this weekend not only did she work the booth during the packet pick up on Friday and Saturday she ran the 1/2 marathon and then worked the booth until the completion of the full marathon. She also finished 3rd in her age group. I think she sucked down one too many Verve’s and had way too many shots of Vemma.

The 3 day event was a success. We sold tons of Verve, passed out lots of samples, and enrolled many new members.

If you are interested in improving your health while creating a residual income contact us.

Also a big thanks to Shannon Driscoll and Louis Adams for helping out at the packet pick up booth. Pictured below Mimi and Shannon.

Travis Tillson and group did a great job this past weekend at their Vemma booth at the Sun Trust Richmond Virgina Marathon 2008.

Below is a recap of the booth from Travis.

We had at least 10 people helping out over a two day period. The booth was open for 4 hours the first day and 10 hours the second day.

My team members that worked the booth were as follows:

  • Jack Maresca (holding the Vemma bottle in the picture above)
  • Ray Logan
  • Jeremy Ritter
  • Ryan McDonough
  • John and Dawn Stepp
  • Kevin Rich
  • Shawn Walenius
  • Travis and Kelli Tillson (Travis is on the left side of the picture above)
  • Daryll Roadcap

Stats:

We handed out around 2,000 samples of Verve and Vemma. We sold around 120 cans of Verve. We had a great response by the people at the Health and Fitness expo for the Sun Trust Richmond Marathon. I know that at least 6 people signed up on the spot and I believe many more will follow in the near future. We learned much and the next one will be incredible. We now know how to “ask for the sale.”

Our name badges were made by Dawn Stepp. She made them out of the “Verve” cards - shatters the competition and some holder from office max.

We had the Vemma Scene and Verve scene playing on the TV.

Overall I think it was a phenomenal experience. It helped the confidence of the 8 people who jumped right in and got their “nose bloodied”, if ya know what I mean.

“I will do today with others won’t, so I can live tomorrow like other’s can’t!”

Thanks for all your support to all that helped out at the booth!

How To Do A Vemma Booth by Tyler and Mimi Ford

After our last couple posts on the Vemma booths many people have asked questions on doing a Vemma booth; so I thought I would respond by doing a post about How To Do A Vemma Booth.

We have done quite a few booths since joining Vemma. We were told when we first joined Vemma and expressed an interest in doing some booths that they were a waist of time and money. We would have to disagree. If done right they can be well worth your time and money.

94.9 MIX FM had their 19th Annual Baby Fair. Angela Olson and I (Mimi Ford) set up a booth on the isle for stay at home mom’s looking for supplemental income. The booth was a huge success! We enrolled 2 people on the spot and found 7 contacts that wanted to work Vemma as a business. There was a massage therapist who was interested in having us do a taste test with his clients. One of the contacts lives in New Jersey and another in Mexico. Way to Go Angela!!

vemma booth at tri

This weekend we went to the Tribal Multisports Sprint Triathlon in Phoenix, Arizona as a Vemma exhibitor. Vemma was well perceived and we enrolled more members on the product during the couple hours we were there.

Lewis Elliot who is a professional triathlete and also sponsored by Vemma was at the event. Lewis won the the race and helped us out at the booth after he raced. Thanks Lewis for helping out! Lewis is an incredible athlete and uses Vemma and Verve in his daily routine to maintain a competitive advantage. Picture below is Lewis Elliot drinking a Verve after the race.

Here is the link to the results of the race:

We were next to a Mona Vie distributor at the event. There are many great products in the industry but if you are looking at Mona Vie first compare the two products. Vemma is far and above a better product and you get far more nutrition for your money. Check out this link to compare Vemma vs Mona Vie: Vemma VS Mona Vie comparison

gaba vemma booth

Twice a year in the spring and fall in Tucson, AZ there is a huge bike swap meet. They shut down a section of 4th Ave and people bring their bike stuff to sell on the side walk.

Kim Loya, Mike Carey and I (Tyler Ford) set up a Vemma booth at the bike swap meet. We got there at about 5 AM to set up. People show up at the crack of down to hunt down the good deals and the swamp meet goes on until 1 PM.

We had a successful day. We enrolled about 7 to 8 new members and sold many cans of Verve. A couple new members we enrolled were networkers and extremely interested in building a Vemma business.

So I would say we had a good day!

I want to thank Kim and Mike for taking time out of their weekend and working the booth!

What Mimi and I want more than anything is to see others succeed within our group. That gives us the biggest satisfaction.

vemma both dbc race front

Pictured above the front of our Vemma booth.

This weekend  in Phoenix, Arizona David Benjes of DCB Adventures put on 2.4 mile open water swim race in Tempe Town Lake. It is the week before Ironman Arizona so many do the open water swim the week before as a tune up before Ironman Arizona.

David Benjes allowed us to have a Vemma booth at the packet pick up on Saturday and then also set up our booth at the race on Sunday April 6, 2008. It was awesome!! David is a great race promoter and his races are alway well organized. So we would like to say thanks to David Benjes for allowing us to have a Vemma booth.

Furthermore it was well worth our time.  We added about 10 new Vemma members to our team during the 2 days.

We have done quite a few booths over the last eight months and we are starting to get them down.

Also want to mention that we had some Vemma members who participated in the race who had great results.

  • Susy Bacal, time: 58:13:00, 6th place female, 1st in age group
  • Diane Dedek, time: 1:02:25, 28th female, 2nd in age group
  • Tyler Ford, time: 53:45:40, 17th male, 2nd in age group
  • Pam Reed for some reason was not listed in the results

Pictured below Tyler finishing the 2.4 mile swim.
