Pictured above is Mimi Ford (left) and the overall winner Chrissy Parks (right).

This past weekend was the Soma Half Ironman Triathlon and Mimi took 2nd in the 45 to 49 age group and had the 2nd fastest overall bike split. The 1st overall male athlete was Lewis Elliott who is also powered by Vemma.

As you can see Mimi was sporting her Vemma tri kit racing jersey. The real power of her performance comes from proper training, mental mind set, and proper nutrition. Vemma gives any athlete the nutrition they need to gain the edge on the competition. When you train to an extreme it is very important to give your body proper nutrition. Vemma is the secret weapon. Vemma is high in anti-oxidants and has a natural anti-inflammatory which keeps the body from getting injuries. Verve is a great recovery drink for such an extreme sport!

I entered the Mens’ 3.5 level of competition at the Tucson City Tennis Tournament. My section is based on a player’s ability level. I played a guy who is 31, I will be 65 this October! I mention this because I am totally convinced that my energy level and endurance is greatly enhanced due to drinking VERVE ENERGY DRINK! When you get the energy you need into your body, you can compete! Another significant attribute of VERVE is I find the recovery time after competition is a lot quicker than before I started drinking VERVE.

We had long games in 100 plus temps on court and I held up very well. I asked my opponent his age after we finished and he said 31. When I told him I would be 65 this October he was shocked! He said I played like a 21 year old! I also play on Monday and Wednesday nights in a mens’ league at Fort Lowell. Verve energy drink has made a real impact on my energy level. It works!

Never Forget Your Beginner’s Spirit!

This is a great message in Vemma and in Life! Many times in Vemma people get off to a fast start and then go sideways or back-wards. People in Vemma forget what got them off to a fast start which is excitement and enthusiasm. Keep up your beginner’s spirit when sharing Vemma and Verve.

This past weekend we drove to California for the 2009 Wildflower Triathlon and had a great time. A big thanks to everyone we camped out with (Ross and Tammy Lamb, Diane Dedek, Susy Bacal, Oley and Sharon Sheremeta, Franz and Jennifer Rischard and Damian Hill who finished 4th overall) that shared in good food, great stories and tons of fun!

One of the many reasons we are committed to the success of Vemma is to allow us the time freedom to live a healthy active lifestyle while promoting the worlds most complete liquid nutritional supplements Vemma and Verve. Vemma gives us the energy we need to compete at the highest level.

Mimi had a podium 3rd place finished in the 45 to 49 age group. Great job! There is some stiff competition at Wildflower. The Wildflower triathlon is considered one of the toughest half Ironman in the country.

After the race Ross Lamb and I cooked up some serious burgers! Ross had an awesome race and beat his time from the previous year by 20 minutes. Way to go Ross! Ross is a big fan of Vemma and Verve. Pictured below Ross with his double cheese burger.
