Another great year at the 2012 Epic Rides Kona 24 Hour Mountain Bike Race in the Old Pueblo. Big shout out to Todd Sadow, staff, volunteers team crew and support for putting on a great event.
This past weekend we competed in a 24 hour mountain bike race as a part of our 1st 90 day challenge in 2012. What a great weekend!
Mimi road on a 4 person team, 3 guys and a chick, with a friend that I grew up with and lived next door all of my childhood life named Jim Greer. It was great to see Jim and his brother Chris Greer. Jim has been on ViSalus for the past month and committed to losing weight and getting fit. Prior to the event Jim lost 20 pounds and is on a mission to get back to his high school weight of 170 pounds. Great job Jim!
I was riding in the corporate division with a great group of guys on team Area 51. Every year we go head-to-head with a bunch of great teams and it always comes down to the last lap. After 24 hours of racing we took 1st place! Great job to Team Hosie Cow Cirrus for pushing us to the limit. As you can see from the results it was a battle in the desert… Results
Hey Dan Taylor if you are reading this thanks for bringing your rig out and crewing for us. Dan was the man! Your midnight message before my 2 AM night lap did wonders for my legs.
