This past weekend at the Ambassador retreat in Kona, Hawaii at the Waikoloa Hilton Resort we had the opportunity to talk to many of the top leaders in Vemma.

One of the better conversations we had was with Brad Alkazin pictured to the right. Brad is a Star Ambassador and is a hard worker. We talked about the difference between working hard and working smart. Using a duplicable system is working smart.
Brad reminded us that when we (Tyler and Mimi Ford) first started building our down line our message was more about the product and we had great success enrolling new members and keeping them on auto delivery. Now that we have been sharing Vemma for over 2 years he said he noticed that we have shifted slightly and lead more with the opportunity. Many of the people we shared Vemma with over 2 years ago are still on auto delivery and love Vemma and would never stop taking the product. Where as today if we enroll a new member and lead with the opportunity and even though they may love Vemma as a product are more likely to come off of auto delivery if they don’t start making money immediately. We pondered this on our flight back to Tucson. Brad may have a point!
Brads theory is that if you lead with the opportunity and they don’t make money right away they will quit and not be interested in Vemma at all but if you lead with the product and they like it and later decide that they want to share it with others and get their product for free they will be Vemma users for life!
My theory to leading with Vemma the product or Vemma the opportunity is knowing your audience. When you make your list of people to share Vemma with put them in to categories.
Product Catagories:
People who need more energy
People who are health conscious
People who have health challenges
I always inform product users that if they like the product they can always share it with others to get their product for free.
Opportunity Catagories:
People who are ambitious, Entrepreneurial, hard working
People who are dissatisfied with their current job
People who are facing layoffs and downsizing
With opportunity seekers I will ask them if I could show you a way to invest $150 a month in your families health and earn an extra $500 to $1,000 a month would you be interested? If the answer is “yes” I set up another appointment to go over it with them in detail.
There is no right or wrong answer and many people lead with both product and opportunity. If you talk to many of the top income earners in the profession you will get different answers to this debate.
If you come across someone spontaneously it is always better to lead with the product. Everyone can use more energy and feel good!
Remember in order to build your Vemma business you have to talk to people and lead with something. – Mimi Ford
