We are sitting in the Dallas airport as we write this post.
This weekend we (Tyler and Mimi Ford) traveled to Virginia Beach, VA for an opportunity and training meeting. Vemma elite leaders Jeff and Ruth Elliott along with Cindy Smith were there as well to help with the meeting.
On Saturday the Virginia Beach, Va Vemma team had a booth at the Shamrock half and full marathon expo spearheaded by Travis and Kelly Tillson. Their booth rocked! The team enrolled 39 new Vemma members over a two day period. Mimi and I have done our fair share of booths over the last couple of years and the VA beach team taught us a few things. We were totally impressed. Thanks for every one’s hard work.
On Saturday evening at 7PM we did an opportunity meeting and training hosted by Dennis Ligon. Ruth and Jeff Elliott along with Mimi Ford did a great job presenting. There were around 200 people attending.
On Sunday morning we met the Virginia Beach, VA leadership team of Diamonds and above for breakfast at the hotel and had a great time listening to some hilarious stories.

Not pictured above Travis and Kelly Tillson (Diamond) and Rick and Jeannine Drake-Judalena (Diamond).
Travis also ran in the half marathon. Way to go Travis!
I also helped Ruth Elliott set up her Twitter account so you can follow her. She will give you some good insight on growing your Vemma business. Her Twitter account is http://twitter.com/ruth_elliott
As we were leaving the hotel there was a car parked out front that had a Virginia license plate DONTQIT.
Our message to the Virginia beach team is:
Never Quit On A Bad Day!
On February 10th I did a post about the new business cards we were using. I made a little tweek to the back side of our Vemma business cards to see if we could attract some business builders by the simple little message “Who Else Wants to Make Some Extra Money?”
I have been putting the cards in all bills I pay, at restaurants when I leave a tip, on message boards, and handing them out wherever I go.
Guess what? I had a call today from someone that was looking to make some extra money.

Since the introduction of Verve in late 2007 and the Verve Energy Shot the first of the year 2009 we have been getting tons of questions about the retails side of Verve and the Verve Energy Shot so I am going to do a blog post explaining the retail side of Vemma.
Vemma is as far as I know the first networking marketing company to do what our leader and CEO BK Boreyko calls hybrid marketing. We have our flagship product Vemma that cannot be retailed and Verve and the Verve Shot that can be sold via a retail channel of distribution if one chooses. This opens our doors wide open and we have the best of both worlds. Please check in your Vemma back office for the retail guidelines. The one thing we cannot do is retail the Verve line through the big box stores like Costco, Sam’s Club, large grocery chains, etc.
The retail aspect of building your business is one area you can focus on but don’t lose your focus thinking that the retail side of the business is the only way to grow your downline. Yes a retailer can move some serious volume that we all get credit for, but at the end of the day the true residual income and wealth comes from duplication. So don’t take your eye off the ball!
The one really cool thing about the retail side of Verve is that the retail volume that retailers are doing increase the profitability of Vemma which then increases the cycle bonus value. What this means to you is higher commissions. So everyone wins!
The best way to work the retail side of Vemma through Verve and the Verve Energy Shot is sign up the retailer as a member and then have the retailer order the product directly from Vemma. There is a separate Verve Retail Pricing structure for retailers. The more product a retailer orders the cheaper the product becomes. The quantity discount that Vemma offers allow retailers so obtain margins between 30% to 50%.
Consequently you do not have to be in the inventory business. All product is drop shipped directly to the retailer as they need product. The volume that the retailer needs to buy to obtain the best quantity discount is vary affordable.
If you sign up a retailer you get credit for all volume they order resulting in cycle bonus and consistency bonus commissions. Everyone in the up-line gets credit for the volume as well.
Below are some links that are helpful when talking to retailers.
