 Vemma office

This post was written by Kim Loya of Tucson, AZ. Kim along with other members took a tour of the Vemma corporate office and the distribution facility.

We went to the Ambassadors Summit Training this week in Tempe. The weekend was a whirlwind of fun and excitement as well as learning.Friday night we went to the opening of the Verve Energy Lounge  www.verveenergylounge.com and we watched the playoff game between the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs. The Verve Energy Lounge was full of energy living up to its name. There was a live DJ, a sushi bar, a market carvery, lush couches and all of the Verve drinks you could imagine - the latest concoction being the captain verve!

Saturday we attended an all day training seminar, we were given tips and ideas and motivation from such speakers as Ruth Elliott, Gary Brady, Matt Morrow and Michelle Barnes , we were also given a business update from BK. It was nice to listen to each speaker for 45 minutes, so that we could truly get an insight into the differences in how each leader runs their business. The power points from their presentations will be placed in your back office soon!

BK spoke of a few things that are in the works for Vemma for example, they are starting to look at an energy shot product for a quick boost and he us know that we sold 2 million dollars in Verve alone for the month of April!

We definitely have the best product, the best company and the best timing - AN OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME!!

 mimi boston verve pic

Today was the 2008 Boston Marathon which is a big deal. The Boston Marathon is the most prestigious marathon in the world and you have to qualify to run in the Boston Marathon.

Two Vemma members from Tucson ran in todays event, my wife Mimi Ford and Pam Reed. Mimi pictured above with a smile and a Verve. Mimi finished with a time of 3:43:53. Way to go Mimi!

Pam Reed a world class ultra runner did what they call the double Boston Marathon. She started at the finish line and ran to the start and then ran the Boston Marathon for a total running distance of 52 miles. Pam after already running 26 miles finish another 26 miles and the Boston Marathon in 4:05:28. Pretty amazing!

Pam has been taking Vemma now for close to 30 days and feels great. We are happy to have Pam in our group. Check out this link for more info on what an amazing athlete Pam Reed is: http://www.tylerandmimiford.com/pam-reed-ultra-marathoner-and-vemma/

gaba vemma booth

Twice a year in the spring and fall in Tucson, AZ there is a huge bike swap meet. They shut down a section of 4th Ave and people bring their bike stuff to sell on the side walk.

Kim Loya, Mike Carey and I (Tyler Ford) set up a Vemma booth at the bike swap meet. We got there at about 5 AM to set up. People show up at the crack of down to hunt down the good deals and the swamp meet goes on until 1 PM.

We had a successful day. We enrolled about 7 to 8 new members and sold many cans of Verve. A couple new members we enrolled were networkers and extremely interested in building a Vemma business.

So I would say we had a good day!

I want to thank Kim and Mike for taking time out of their weekend and working the booth!

What Mimi and I want more than anything is to see others succeed within our group. That gives us the biggest satisfaction.

Pam Reed 1

Tyler and Mimi Ford our proud to have Pam Reed as a member of our team. Pam has been a long time friend and a real inspiration to us. Anytime we are training and racing and it gets painful we ask “what would Pam do?” She would never give up!

Pam Reed is an extraordinary athlete and pushes her body to an extreme running ultra-marathon events with distances of excess of 100 miles. She competes with the best of them and is right up there with the top men.

When you do anything to an extreme it takes a toll on your body. Pam was looking for the nutrition that her body needs to maintain her training and racing and Vemma is the answer and Vemma is for athletes.

All athletes should be on VemmaVemma is super liquid nutrition your body so needs!

Pam Reed is the two-time reigning champion of Badwater, the 135-mile race from California’s Death Valley to Mount Whitney that is considered the world’s toughest running event, and the first person – male or female – to run 300 miles straight without sleep. She is also American women’s record-holder in the 24-hour run (138.94 miles).

Pam has completed more than 100 races exceeding marathon distance, including several Ironman-length triathlons and 20 races of 100 miles or more. She is founder director of the Tucson Marathon.

Pam has appeared on David Letterman, The Tony Danza Show, CNN and was also featured on 60 Minutes.

Pam has also been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Running Times, Sports Illustrated, and Runners World.

Read her autobiography, The Extra Mile: One Woman’s Personal Journey to Ultrarunning Greatness.

Check out Pam’s story on her website www.pamreedrunner.com.

Have you ever given someone your Vemma website address and they end up leaving off your user name? Consequently they go to myvemma.com enroll as a member and not end up in your downline. NOT FUN, BUMMER, THIS STINKS, BUT NOT THE END OF THE WORLD!

Well this has happen to us on more than one occasion.

There is a solution from preventing this from every happening to you.

STEP 1: Register new domain name

What you can do is create your own domain name and have that domain forwarded to your Vemma domain name.

For example we registered the domain name www.usavma.com which is forwarded to www.myvemma.com/mimiandtyler. Click on this www.usavma.com and see what happens.

It is real easy to do. Just click on the Go Daddy link  below and register a domain name.

GoDaddy.com $1.99 Domains

STEP 2: Forward domain name

Once you register your domain name go into your Go Daddy account and set up a forwarding rule to your myvemma.com domain name.

STEP 3: Use new domain name

Get Vemma cards printed with your new domain name and always give out your own domain name that is forwarded to your myvemma.com domain name.

NOTE: Vemma does not allow anyone to use Vemma in a personal domain name other than the myvemma.com domain name. So when you register your domain name DO NOT register a name that has Vemma in it. If you do Vemma will make you change it.
